The governor of Abia Alex Otti has commissioned major three road projects in the state as part of his mission of rebuilding and fulfilling all his campaign promises during the inauguration.
Alex Otti with his deputy, Ikechukwu Emetu commissioned Phase 1 Cemetery Road, Shalom Road and Emelogu Road joining other prominent cabinet members ensuring the safety of the residents as a top priority.
The governor during the inauguration, said his administration will continue to revitalize world-class infrastructure, implementing social programs and driving economic expansion in the state with the support of residents.
“Our ultimate objective is to eradicate mediocrity and foster the transformation of Aba into a thriving commercial hub. These road projects represent only the initial phase of our ambitious plans for Aba, which is poised to become an attractive investment destination and a veritable goldmine of opportunities. We are actively pursuing avenues to attract private investors, enhance transportation systems, and establish recreational facilities and ICT-innovation parks, Alex Otti added.
The governor also calls upon the resident to provide steadfast support through tax compliance, responsible waste disposal, and collaboration with security agencies, ensuring free of extortion from traders and commercial side hustlers.
“We sternly caution against any form of extortion and affirm our commitment to address such activities in strict accordance with the law. Furthermore, we are resolute in our determination to fortify security systems and ensure the safety of lives and property” Otti stated.
