The Governor of Osun State and Chairman of the Kogi Governorship Campaign Council, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, held a reconciliation meeting with Senator Dino Melaye, Professor Jerry Gana, Senator Olujimi, Hon Habeebat Deen, Hon. Abiodun Ojo, and other party members in Kogi State.
It’s worth noting that during the presidential campaign, the People’s Democratic Party was plagued by disarray, internal divisions, and fragmentation.
Governor Adeleke, along with his colleagues, has chosen to set aside their differences for the sake of the upcoming Kogi Governorship election. He emphasized that unity and solidarity are the key instruments for achieving success in the forthcoming November 2023 Kogi Governorship election.
Senator Dino Melaye also said on his official X page, “We have put the past behind us. One strong PDP in Kogi West. Hon Abiodun Ojo and others, thank you so much.”
Adeleke also reassured the public that Dino Melaye is making every effort to bring hope and progress to Kogi State.
Furthermore, Osun Governor Adeleke said, “The success of today’s reconciliation has further strengthened my confidence in the ability of our party to achieve victory in the forthcoming election”.
